Seung Yul Lee reinterprets the way of seeing places, including various structures and buildings. His interest in exploring variable features of certain space, errors and special depth derived from his main medium, photography. Due to a single point of view, and flat output, photography delivers his message more clearly.
Through the exhibition ⟪A Very Flat Sculpture⟫, he tries to expand the features of his own space -layered with errors and distortions which came from the process of his exploration going through a flat surface, three dimensional structure to a flat surface- in FF Seoul.

이승열 작가는 공간을 재해석하고 구조물을 새롭게 바라보는 방법에 대해 탐구한다. 주로 특정 공간의 가변적인 속성이나 시점으로 인해 나타나는 오류, 평면 매체인 사진에서 발현하는 특수한 공간감에 대해서 관심을 가지고 작업한다.
⟪A Very Flat Sculpture⟫ 전시는 작가가 평면-입체-평면을 반복해서 오가며 왜곡과 오류로 덧대어진 공간의 속성을 전시장 안에서 확장하는 시도이다.
